Sacred Sounds At St. Marks
On Sunday, Dec. 4th at 5 pm, soprano Hannah De Priest and pianist Michael Pecak will perform a FREE recital of favorite art songs at St. Marks as part of its Sacred Sounds Series. The program includes music by American composers Amy Beach and Rebecca Clarke; lush Romantic-era songs by Richard Strauss, Henri DuParc, and delicate French chansons by Cécile Chaminade and Gabriel Fauré. The program also includes two dramatic concert arias by Mozart and Beethoven.
